This information sheet was written by Amanda Hazy as part of a research project with MHF last summer. Ms. Hazy is in her final year of veterinary school at Virginia Tech's Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She is studying equine medicine and will spend this summer undertaking clinical rotations at equine practices. She will attain her DVM May 2022.
