Middleburg Humane Foundation has an on-site veterinary clinic that provides care for cats brought in through its TNR Program. Cats coming through our TNR program must be outdoor only. The following services will be provided:
  • Spay/Neuter
  • Left Ear-Tip
  • FVRCP Vaccine
  • Rabies Vaccine
  • Microchip
  • Dewormer
  • Flea/Tick Treatment
  • Convenia (as needed)

If you are interested in receiving assistance through our TNR Program, please fill out this form and the Community Cat Coordinator will reach out to you.

Once submitted, you will receive a callback so that MHF can discuss with you the best way we can assist.

The next steps are as follows:

1. Visit MHF to borrow a trap.

  • Traps may be borrowed from MHF by leaving a refundable deposit. Deposit may be paid by cash, credit card or check. A $75 deposit is required to borrow 1-3 traps and $150 for 3 or more traps. All cats must arrive in a humane trap. It must be pre-approved for a cat to arrive in a carrier. Paperwork must be completed at the shelter before borrowing a trap.

2. Please notify MHF before trapping.

  • Arrangements must be made in advance so that a space is available for housing. The cost of services is $75 due at the time of drop off. Please discuss any circumstances that preclude you from paying the full fee with our staff in advance of drop off.

3. Trapping schedule will be discussed prior to clinic day.

  • Please notify MHF of any kittens or the possibility of kittens on site.

4. Drop-off at MHF.

  • When you arrive at MHF to drop-off cat(s), staff will be available to assist and answer any questions. The agreed donation amount must be paid at the time of drop-off.

5. Pickup cat(s) at MHF.

  • You will be given an estimated day of pick-up. The Community Cat Coordinator or the Vet Tech will remain in contact with you and notify you when your cat(s) will be ready!
