Our Mission
Committed to Saving and Rehoming Abandoned Pets
Middleburg Humane Foundation rescues, rehabilitates, and rehomes animals in need and promotes animal welfare through community outreach and humane education. We accomplish our mission through our various programs: intake and adoption, Trap-Neuter-Return, food and medical care assistance, humane education, internships, and volunteerism.
The foundation operates a non-profit, 23-acre farm shelter located on the west side of Marshall, Virginia, just off Route 66, Exit 27.

Kitten Yoga

Looking for a purr-fect way to relax and stretch? Come on over and experience our unique Kitten Yoga session! Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just looking for a fun new experience, everyone is welcome. No yoga experience is needed—just a love for kittens and a desire to unwind. If you are interested, please show up early as this event is first come, first served.
Fur-tastic Trick or Treat
October, 26th
11 am - 2 pm
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!
The event will include trick or treating on the gorgeous MHF property, raffles, a photo booth, a Smooch-A-Pooch booth, free kid-friendly grab bags & disaster preparedness kits (while supplies last) and MORE!!
It's FUN, it's EDUCATIONAL and you'll get to meet ALL the animals as they will be handing out the candy at our trick-or-treat stations!
FEE: Free entry & free trick or treating! (though donations are always welcome! )
Boos Barks & Brews
October, 27th
4 pm - 7 pm
Join us for a fantastic evening supporting Middleburg Humane Foundation! Enjoy a famous crab cake dinner from Talk of the Mountain Crab Cakes, delicious brews from Barrel Oak Winery and Brewery, and a barktastic dog costume contest. All proceeds benefit the foundation.
