Sarah joined the MHF team August 17, 2021. She previously served as the Executive Director at the Southeast Volusia Humane Society in New Smyrna Beach, FL. Sarah wanted to move north to be closer to family and was specifically interested in working with MHF because of the variety of animals we take in. Sarah volunteered at a working farm growing up and with a farm sanctuary while she lived in Florida, and is especially interested in growing our Equine program and advocating on behalf of MHF's horses and livestock. The MHF team is excited about working with Sarah and starting a new chapter in the MHF story.
